Dr. Hachem Dadouch

Emergency Room Physician – Kyle ER

Dr. Dadouch graduated from Damascus Medical School in 1989. After working for a year as a research fellow At Harvard Medical School, he completed a Masters in Public Health at Boston University, and then started his postgraduate medical trailing in 1992 at Yale University. In 1999, After getting his board certification in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine, Dr. Dadouch returned to his home country, Syria. There, he worked on advancing Emergency Medicine in the country. He started a series of freestanding emergency centers, established the first university-based graduate program in Emergency Medicine and worked as a consultant for the Minister of Health for Disaster and Emergency Medicine.

In 2011, when the civil unrest in Syria turned into a civil war, Dr. Dadouch and his family returned to Texas, where he initially worked as an emergency physician in south Texas. He was the medical director of the ED at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, TX before eventually moving to Austin with his family in 2014. Now, Dr. Dadouch works in multiple freestanding emergency centers in Austin, serving his community through exceptional patient care.
